If a licensee in your firm or organization has a legal specialization, the legal specialization will automatically display in the Specialization column on your Annual Fees page. In Agency Billing you have the option to:
- Remove legal specializations from all licensees
- Remove legal specializations from individual licensees
Please note: You can also choose to remove legal specializations from all your licensees by using the Preferences option. View Preferences guide.
Remove legal specializations from all licensees
To remove legal specializations from all licensees in your account, from the Annual Fees page, click "Specializations."
A warning pop-up will appear asking if you are sure you want to remove legal specializations from all licensees, click "Yes" to proceed.
After clicking "Yes", your Annual Fees page will automatically update. You will see that the legal specialization codes are no longer displayed and that the legal specialization dollar amounts are now $0.00.
Click "Save My Changes" on the Annual Fees page to complete the change.
Remove legal specializations from individual licensees
To remove a legal specialization from an individual licensee, click the triangle next to the Branch/Location column to expand the intended licensee record.
In the expanded licensee record, click the "Specialization" tab to view the licensee's legal specialization. Click "x" to remove the legal legal specialization.
After clicking "x", a warning will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete the record, click "Ok" to proceed.
Click "Save My Changes" on the Annual Fees page to complete the change.
Please note: If you remove legal specializations from your licensee(s), the only way to get the legal specialization fees to repopulate is to remove your licensee from your agency/firm, ensure you do not have the ‘Prefer to remove all specializations for all licensees’ box checked in the Preferences option and re-add the licensee using the ‘Add Licensee’ option.
