Order a Wall Admission Certificate

State Bar of California licensees can order their Wall Admission Certificate online through the Admissions Applicant Portal. Only one Wall Certificate may be in your possession at any time. Follow the instructions below to order a Wall Admission Certificate:

• Log into the Applicant Portal:
  The first step is to log into the Applicant Portal using your credentials. Do not create a new account as licensees can only order with their historical Office of Admissions account. If you need assistance, email WallCertificates@calbar.ca.gov.
• Navigate to View Forms:
  Once logged in, you will land on the home page. Look for "Apply" window and click on the "View Forms" option. This will give you access to various State Bar applications and forms.
• Find the Services Section:
  In the Services section, look for the "Standard Wall Certificate Request" or “Custom Wall Certificate Request” and click on it. This will allow you to begin the request process for the wall certificate of your choice. You may order only one certificate, not one of each type. Descriptions of the certification types are available online.
• Launch Your Application:
  After selecting the wall certificate desired, you will see an option to "Launch Application." Click on this to start your application.
• Complete the Application Form:
  You will be directed to a page where you need to enter and verify information found on the left side of the page.
• Verify Your Information:
  Take a moment to review all the information you've entered to ensure its accuracy. It is crucial to double-check to avoid any issues with your wall certificate request.
• Submit Your Application:
  Once you have completed all the necessary fields and verified the information, it is time to submit your application. Click on the "submit" button located on the verification tab to finalize the process.

• Login to Admissions Applicant Portal using your Office of Admissions account. Do not create a new account as licensees can only order with their historical Office of Admissions account.
• Select View Forms under the Apply Icon to view available California State Bar applications and forms.
• Under Services, select either the Standard or Custom Wall Certificate Request.
• Select Launch Application to proceed to the Wall Certificate Request.

Note: A Wall Admission Certificate is different from a certificate of standing issued by the Division of Regulation.
