Can I still modify or submit my 2025 LC or LLP application?
The registration renewal period for 2025 closed on July 30, 2026. This means that all online applications submitted in Agency Billing between August 1, 2025, and July 30, 2026, are now closed and cannot be modified.
If you need to renew your registration and did not complete the renewal for 2025, starting on August 3, you can complete the online 2026 renewal application and pay any outstanding fees for both 2026 and 2025. Any information you entered in your 2025 LC/LLP application—whether for a renewal or a new registration—has been saved and can be updated by accessing the 2026 application on or after August 3.
If I was unable to complete the renewal application by the end of the 2025 LC/LLP renewal cycle, was the registration suspended?
All suspended LC/LLPs were sent a notice regarding their suspension status. When reviewing the 2026 online renewal application, the “Grid list” view includes an LC or LLP status that indicates a suspension status. To reinstate from suspension LC/LLPs must complete the 2026 renewal application, including payment of the 2026 fees and any outstanding 2025 fees (Renewal and late penalty fees).
Who is required to submit a 2026 LC/LLP renewal application?
All registered LC/LLPs, except those that submitted an initial application after April 1, 2026, must complete a renewal application for 2026. This process requires submitting the renewal application online and paying any outstanding fees by August 31, 2026. Please be aware that late fees will be imposed starting October 2, 2026.
I just submitted a renewal application; why do I need to resubmit?
The 2025 LC/LLP period was the first-year LC/LLP applications were completed entirely online. The State Bar extended the 2025 renewal deadline to January 30, 2026, and the suspension deadline to May 29, 2026, to help LCs/LLPs adapt to the new procedures. LCs/LLPs were allowed to submit their final materials for the 2025 renewal period until 11:59pm on July 30, 2026. Therefore, you must submit a 2026 renewal application online even if your LC/LLP submitted a 2025 renewal applicatio2026, late as July 30, 2026.
I started or submitted a new application prior to July 30, what is the status on my registration?
Starting on August 3, LCs/LLPs should log in to their Agency Billing account to review their online application, which includes read only 2025 new application and a 2026 new application that can be updated. All previously reported information will appear in the 2026 new application record. Review the LC/LLP status for the 2026 application record located in the “Grid list” view to confirm the status of your registration.
LCs/LLPs with an incomplete 2025 new application can continue to the process by completing the 2026 application. LCs/LLPs who registered as a new application in 2025 and approved after April 1 are not required to take any action unless they need to submit a Special Report to report changes to their LC/LLP. Review the LC/LLP status for the 2026 application record located in the “Grid list” view to confirm the status of your registration.
My LC/LLP is newly registered. Do I need to submit a 2026 renewal?
All registered LC/LLPs—except those that successfully completed a new registration application after April 1, 2026—must renew their registration by submitting an online renewal application for 2026. To confirm whether an LC/LLP is required to submit a 2026 renewal, log in to Agency Billing and locate the 2026 application record. If “Renewal” appears as the application type in the “Grid list” view, a renewal is required. LCs/LLPs will also receive a notice instructing them to renew their registration for 2026. If “Special Report” appears as the application type, LC/LLPs are not required to complete the special report unless they need to report a change.

Start by selecting a Topic ("Limited Liability Partnership" or "Law Corporation") and selecting "I have a question or issue with the online application or renewal process" as the Issue. I cannot log into Agency Billing or cannot create an Agency Billing Account. What should I do?
