By Laws Segment

In this segment, applicants are asked to confirm that the firm’s corporate bylaws.

  

Newly registered LCs will follow a different process for satisfying the bylaws reporting requirements than returning LCs submitting a renewal. Please identify your application type and review the instructions below that correspond to your selection.  

Annual Renewal

  1. Review rule 3.157 Shares of the Rules of the State Bar of California.

  2. Answer the question, “Have there been any amendments to the Law Corporation by-laws as they relate to Law Corporation Rule 3.157 since the last renewal cycle?”

      1. If no, select “No.”
      • If yes, select “Yes,” and fill in the declaration box.
      • Once complete, click “Continue” at the bottom of the page.


          

    To update the By Laws on record: Delete the Articles of Incorporation uploaded and upload a revision document containing the Articles of Incorporation and updated By Laws. 

    New Registration Application

    1. Review rule 3.157 Shares of the Rules of the State Bar of California. 

    2. Complete the declaration box. 

    3. Once complete, click “Continue” at the bottom of the page.
