My exam application is approved, but I don't see my admittance ticket in the Applicant Portal.
Once your exam application (FYLSX or CBX) is approved, your admittance ticket will be available about one month before the exam. Allow at least 24 hours from the time your exam application is approved for your ticket to appear.
If you requested testing accommodations, your admittance ticket will be available once your request has been processed.
To access your admittance ticket:
- Log in to your Applicant Portal
- Click on "Applications" at the top of the home page
- Click on "My Applications" from the drop-down menu
- Click on the "Approved" Application tab
- Select the current exam application
- Click on "Details" to confirm your admittance ticket is available
- If your admittance ticket is not available it may be for the following reason(s):
- Your exam application has not yet been approved.
- Your request for testing accommodations has not yet been finalized.
- Your demographic information is missing.
- Missing demographic information is the most common issue. To complete your demographic information:
- Click on your name in the top right corner, then click "My Profile."
- Click "Update your Contact Information." This will take you to a new page.
- Click "Edit" on the new page. An "Edit Contact" box will open.
- Scroll down to the demographic information to update your information.
- Scroll down to the bottom and click "Save."
- You may need to refresh your browser to see the change(s).
All fields under demographic information must be complete. You may choose "Decline to Answer" for each field.
Please contact us at admissions@calbar.ca.gov or call 800-843-9053 if you are unable to access your admittance ticket after following the steps above.
