A plastic bar card is not automatically sent. Instead, once payment of your annual fees has been initiated online, you can print your paper bard card and order a plastic bar card in your My State Bar Profile.
Note: The plastic bar card ordering option for the prior annual license renewal period is no longer available after November. You may access and/or print your prior year paper bar card until December 31.
To obtain your bar card, click the "Bar Card, Payment Receipt(s), and Other Documents" link in your profile menu.
Under the "Bar Card, Payment Receipt(s), and Other Documents" heading, click "Get my Bar Card, Payment Receipt(s), and Other Documents" to access the bar card ordering options.
Please keep in mind that 50% of respondents to a State Bar survey indicated that they never use their bar cards. Please make sure a plastic bar card is needed before ordering.
- Download a 2024 paper bar card.
- Download a 2023 paper bar card until December 31, 2023.
- Order a 2024 plastic bar card.
Note:
- The bar card ordering options will not appear until your online payment of annual fees has been successfully initiated or your check payment has been received and posted.
- Plastic bar cards can only be mailed to your State Bar address of record. Plastic bar cards cannot be sent to any other address.
